Do you want to shine on stage? Stage School is our fast-track skills-building class.
Taught through a musical theatre show, students will expand their skills in singing, acting, dancing and stagecraft through a weekly theatre class. Over the past two years students have performed Thoroughly Modern Millie, Mulan, Cinderella and Rockin’ Robin Hood.
The three Stage School Musicals are being performed at the Peacock Theatre in September. Package pricing is available for students who take a Stage School class and a solo lesson.

GRADES 9 – 12 SHOW: IN THE HEIGHTS
In the Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights neighbourhood - a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. In The Heights is the winner of the 2008 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations.

GRADES 6 – 8 SHOW: BIG NATE
Big Nate Nate Wright, a detention-riddled sixth grader (and drummer for the greatest garage band in the history of the galaxy, Enslave the Mollusk!) hopes to capture beautiful Jenny’s heart by winning “The Nicholodeon” the first prize in his school’s Battle of the Bands. But when Artur and Jenny team up with Nate’s arch-rival Gina to form the sap-pop band Rainbows and Ponies, he’s gotta take his game to an all-star level. Comic book antics, over-the-top personalities and a slamming battle of the bands will have audiences cheering all the way!

GRADES 2 – 5 SHOW: HOW TO EAT LIKE A CHILD
How to Eat Like a Child - And Other Lessons in Not Being a Grown-up is an original NBC musical comedy television special starring Dick Van Dyke. This musical romp through the joys and sorrows of being a child is hilarious. Children give 23 lessons in such subjects as ‘how to beg for a dog’, ‘how to torture your sister’, ‘how to act after being sent to your room’ and ‘how to laugh hysterically’. The pace is fast, the tone subversive and the recognition instant.
